At that time, I was portraying the title role in the acclaimed production, Cry Innocent: The People vs Bridget Bishop. Rebecca was there to photograph the production, which is an interactive experience based upon original court documents of Bridget’s pretrial examination in 1692.
Rebecca always showed up promptly, and with boundless excitement to spend time with us. Throughout each show she attended, Rebecca maintained the delicate balance of capturing the intensity of the scene, but never intruded upon the moment. When I saw the photographs, I was in awe. For my engagement photos I had ideas of what I wanted, she made suggestions and we worked together to make my vision a reality. I show everyone the photos and I get compliments every time.
I am someone who suffers with body image issues and I was very nervous anticipating the photoshoot. Once I spoke to Rebecca, my nerves went away because she was very calming and encouraging. She also made sure I was comfortable with everything we did. Due to this, I have a genuine smile on my face in every photo. When my fiance and I left the photoshoot, we both were reminiscing on how much fun we had during the shoot.
